Research Use Only Policy & Purchaser Agreement

This Research Use Only Policy & Purchaser Agreement (“Agreement”) governs all purchases made through Longevra Research. By purchasing any product from Longevra Research, the purchaser agrees to be bound by the terms below.

1. Purpose and Intended Use

All products offered by Longevra Research are supplied strictly for laboratory research and scientific investigation purposes only. These materials are not intended for human consumption, medical use, therapeutic application, veterinary use, diagnostic use, or any form of household use. Products available through Longevra Research are classified as research chemicals and are intended solely for use by qualified professionals, researchers, laboratories, and institutions with the appropriate knowledge and training to safely handle laboratory materials. These substances must only be handled in properly equipped laboratory facilities and in accordance with applicable research and safety protocols.

2. Regulatory Status

None of the products offered by Longevra Research have been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or by any other regulatory authority for medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use. Accordingly, these materials are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

3. Purchaser Representations

By purchasing products from Longevra Research, the purchaser represents and warrants that:

  • The products will be used strictly for legitimate research purposes only;
  • The purchaser is a qualified researcher, or represents a legitimate research institution, laboratory, or company with the appropriate knowledge and training to handle research chemicals;
  • The products will not be used for human or animal consumption under any circumstances;
  • The products will not be resold or distributed for any unauthorized or non-research use;
  • The purchaser will comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations governing the purchase, possession, handling, and use of research chemicals.

4. Limitation of Liability

Longevra Research assumes no liability for misuse, improper handling, or use of any product outside the scope of legitimate scientific research. Any attempt to use these materials in a manner inconsistent with their intended research purpose is strictly prohibited. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Longevra Research shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, handling, storage, or use of any product outside its intended research purpose. The purchaser assumes full responsibility and liability for any unauthorized use, misuse, or application of purchased products.

5. Export and Import Compliance

The purchaser is solely responsible for determining whether the purchase, import, or receipt of any product complies with the laws and regulations of their local jurisdiction, including any applicable customs, export, and import restrictions. Longevra Research currently ships within the United States only, as described in our Shipping Policy, and makes no representation as to the legality of possessing or importing any product outside the jurisdictions we knowingly serve.

6. Storage Responsibility

Upon delivery, the purchaser assumes full responsibility for the proper storage of all products, including maintaining any temperature, light, or humidity conditions appropriate to the material, and for keeping products secured and inaccessible to unauthorized individuals, minors, or animals. Longevra Research is not responsible for product degradation, loss of potency, or safety issues resulting from improper storage after delivery.

7. Laboratory Safety and Handling

The purchaser acknowledges that research chemicals may present unknown or unstudied hazards and agrees that proper laboratory safety procedures will be followed at all times, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and eye protection, handling within a suitable laboratory environment, and disposal in accordance with applicable environmental and safety regulations.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Longevra Research reserves the right to refuse sales to any individual or entity that does not meet our research-use requirements, or that we reasonably believe intends to use our products outside the scope of this Agreement.

9. Acknowledgment

By accessing this website and purchasing products from Longevra Research, the purchaser confirms that they fully understand and agree to the terms of this Research Use Only Policy & Purchaser Agreement. Products are sold with the understanding that they will only be used in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
